DETROIT LAKES, MN — Modern Manufacturing and Engineering, Inc. (MME) recently received certificates of recognition for “going green.”  MME teamed up with Total Energy Concepts, Inc., to save energy with the installation of Power Protection and Power Factor Correction units.  These units protect electrical equipment from lighting strikes, dirty power, and poor efficiency (power factor.)  The net result is optimized voltage and current.  They also are one of the very first companies in the Twin Cities to install the new LED replacement bulbs from Philips.

MME is doing their part to improve their bottom line, and improve our environment.  The impact from their carbon footprint will be decreased, which is good for everyone.

Bill Hartman from Total Energy Concepts is excited about their new partnership with MME.  He said “it is a rewarding experience to work with a business who is pro-active in lowering their energy usage while helping the world do some good.”
