(MME) announces that it has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100B certifications through Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. These awards come after vast efforts by MME employees, culminating in an extensive audit conducted in November 2009.
The ISO standard is a set of global quality practices that ensure business processes are properly controlled and continually improved. ISO certification requires evaluation by an independent, accredited auditing body and through a process approach, demonstrates a company’s commitment to meeting customer requirements and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Like ISO, AS9100B accreditation uses a process approach to improving quality systems, but has additional requirements focusing on design, production and purchasing processes.
